LB# 8 TEACHING WITH CONTRIVED EXPERIENCES

In these lesson I learned that contrived experiences are basically needed in teaching learning process wherein it is refers to as substitute of real things when it is not feasable to bring real to the class.This contrived experiences are designed to simulate to real life situation and it is needed in both the teacher and the students in their learning.
As a future teacher we need to have instructional materials which contrived experiences are used,for example games through this contrived experiences it can help us to make our classes interactive and to develop the decission making skills and knowledge construction skills of our students, like to develop changes in attitudes, to motivate learners and to develop analytical processes.
teacher serve as the model of instruction in teaching learning process especially for the students.
Through this contrived experiences of the teacher and the students, teaching is very effective in learning process.

LB# 7 DIRECT PURPOSEFUL EXPERIENCES

* Based of my understanding on this lesson and through the given examples, I learned that direct purposeful experiences are very effective and useful in the teaching learning process wherein it serve as the foundation of our own learning through the skills of learning by doing and this direct experiences describe as purposeful because these experiences are undergone in relation to a purpose in learning.
*As a future teacher We should considered the following:
1. We should give our students an opportunities to learn by themselves / learning by doing.
2. Let us makeuse of real things as instructional materials for as long as we can.
3. Let us help student develop the five senses to the full heighten their sensitivity to the world.
4. Let us guide our student so they can draw meaning from their firsthand experiences & elevate their level of thinking.
In other words direct purposeful experiences is our firsthand experiences,In contrast indirect experiences are experiences of other people that we observe,read or hear about.

LB#6 Using and Evaluating Instructional Materials

Using instructional materials is very much needed as a student and as a future teacher.
For me instuctional materials is very useful in teaching learning process wherein it serves as a teaching learning aid of the teacher and also for the students they will be aided in their learning.
Instructional materials is considered to be the form of communication, it should be delivered in a manner that is equally effective for person.
As a future teacher in making instructional materials we should considered that our writings, drawings is clear and neat and presentable also to the learners, it should be directly relevant and appropriate to our lesson.

In the context of the teaching learning process, the cone of experience is just like simply learning by doing,like for example if I want my student to learn in using computer then, I will let him to focus one, of course after I showed him how.
So learning is from the concrete to abstract, from abstract to the concrete or it becomes a cycle of learning based on their experiences.

In teaching learning process the teacher follows systematic approach / strategies to teach his students.
systematic approach is a step,form of instruction, a theory in learning process that the teacher should need to be considered in teaching strategies. being a teacher is not easy as I observe like in making instructional objectives it is not just a matter of formulating his /her lesson objective and then directly  teaching the students.In that situation  the teacher should take into any consideration of  what the students needs, interest in learning.

Technology plays a various role in education, it could be in traditional way or in a constructive way because
as a future teacher I prefer to use in a constructive approach wherein there is a giving and take ideas between the teacher and his students, in this approach the students can able to construct and formulate his own ideas,discovery and learning based on the technology being used or being presented in their class discussion..

Is technology boon or bane to education?
For me tecnology is very important wherein it can help me  in doing my research, projects or even my assignment. I can use this technology particularly computer / Internet to communicate my friends and relatives w/c is far with me. Furthermore, it could be a bane in the sense that it can entertain me or lead me to have fun through facebook.

Educational technology is very important to us nowadays.It can help our work more easier and convenient and It can serve to impart our skills and knowledge in planning,designing our project for example, by using this kind of technology.I learned that this technology is very useful in gaining more knowledge in our daily lives.
